WVU

I saw your comment on the WVU talk page. Feel free to edit the article and expand on it if you can. I haven't gotten around to writing a larger history section just because of my schedule. I have been wanting to spruce it up a bit though. As mentioned though, go ahead and edit yourself where you see it appropriate and Be Bold. (As far as the band goes, they are exceptional because they are constantly regarded as one of the nations best university bands and winners of the Sudler Trophy. Kanawah State Forest

West Virginia Turnpike

Any reason you removed substantial information from the West Virginia Turnpike page? The section you modified, relating to the future of the Turnpike, has relevant information on future development projects relating to a new interchange and bond payments. If not, it will be restored. WVTS/WBES

The factual accuracy of these pages are intact. The pages are up-to-date according to FCC.gov. If you have information that is different, you will need reliable third-party sources to back that information up. At current, WBES remains on AM 1240 and WVTS remains on AM 950 according to the Federal Communications Commission. - NeutralHomerTalk09:22, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is incorrect. The FCC handles up-to-date call sign information. So if WBES moves to AM 950, the FCC database would have that information. They do not. All call sign change information MUST go through the FCC first or it doesn't happen. No call sign changes or other information has been issued to the FCC, so your information is false. Status and Advice

As reviewing administrator, I declined the deletion. Asserting something to be a long-standing newspaper is a clear indication of possible importance, and enough to pass speedy. However, all Wikipedia articles must be referenced. Since you obtained the information from somewhere (you refer on Damrok's tp. to "standard lists") you are responsible for adding it, and adding it immediately when making the article is easiest and best, for you have the information at hand.

In addition to standard lists, there is usually references to such newspapers in local histories, and it would be good to add this also, in order to prevent possible challenges at AfD . You said at Talk:John A. Hutchinson The previous version was from the Court's website, which is NOT COPYRIGHTED. Can you point out to me, as I can't find it, where it says the work is not copyrighted and is public domain. The absence of a claim of copyright is not proof that work isn't copyrighted as creation of the work creates copyright and AFAIK West Virginia is not a state that has made any category of state works public domain as works of the federal government are.
